Nestled conveniently behind the bustling Maya Shopping Mall in the Chang Phueak area, this cafe stands out not just for its location but for the quality it delivers. The inviting atmosphere, coupled with an appealing menu, promises a memorable experience for both locals and travelers alike.

As you step into Tiger Ted Cafe, you'll be greeted by a charming mix of indoor and outdoor seating, allowing you to soak in Chiang Mai's vibrant ambiance. The outdoor area, complete with shady spots, beckons to those wishing to bask in the sun, while the air-conditioned indoor space is perfect for a comfortable escape from the heat. The decor, featuring unique shipping containers and an impressive tree that almost gives the vibe of a treehouse, adds a whimsical touch to your dining experience.

But what truly elevates Tiger Ted Cafe is its delectable menu. Customers rave about the expertly crafted coffee, with reviews like that of Walt's Travel Adventures, highlighting the “better tasting coffee” available at a fraction of the price you'd expect. Whether you're in the mood for a creamy latte or the signature matcha that has enchanted patrons like E D (EBDDK), the beverage selection is sure to please. Additionally, don't miss out on the exquisite pastries that pair perfectly with your drink, ensuring your taste buds are treated to a symphony of flavors.

If you're looking for a bite to eat, the menu offers Thai favorites that embody the essence of authentic Thai cuisine. Dishes such as the flavorful Thai omelet and aromatic Thai basil stir fry have garnered high praise from satisfied diners. Wong Tuck Hong describes enjoying a delicious plate of fried rice that retained a lovely mild char, while Luca Tonino recommends the excellent Thai tea, a must-try at just 50 THB.

The atmosphere here is not only relaxed but also ideally suited for those who wish to connect or work remotely. Jordan Opel mentions the surprising sense of isolation despite being near a busy shopping mall, which is a true gem for creatives and remote workers. The accommodating staff further enhance the experience, making you feel right at home with their friendly demeanor and excellent service, as many customers have noted.

In summary, Tiger Ted Cafe is more than just a cafe. It’s a delightful sanctuary where you can indulge in delicious coffee, delightful pastries, and mouth-watering Thai dishes, all set in a vibrant, enchanting environment. This is one of the best cafes behind the giant mall. I'm telling you if you want a better tasting coffee with delicious pastry. The price is amazing. With parking. You have outdoor and indoor seating with aircon. It's better than trying to fight for parking. This is too easy. Pay half the price for your latte and pastries. Also, it's set up for your social media The service was amazing, and the coffee was delicious They warmed up the banana bread.

Had breakfast and lunch here multiple times, we just kept coming back! Best matcha I have ever had, but their coffee(machine) is just as impressive. Food is great also, thai omelet and thai basil stir fry where my favorite. Staff is super friendly. Overall, 10/10 would recommend!

Opposite my hotel. Ate fried rice and Pad Thai. It was delicious and the fried rice had a mild taste of wok hei (charred) which is great. The lattee and Thai tea is good. The boss is very accommodating and speaks good English. I would recommend you the come if you're around Maya shopping mall and need a rest n drinks.

Excellent Coffee and a surprising sense of isolation even though it’s right next to Maya. I love working here on my computer in the mornings when the crowd is low. By mid-day though, this place can fill up fast. Love the shipping containers and the giant tree. It really feels like a treehouse upstairs. I’ve even been visited by squirrels once or twice. Prices are good and the ambiance is great. I just wish it wasn’t so close to the road and the airplane path.

This is among our favourite of places in Chiang Mai- very friendly to cyclists, freshly made Thai food including variety of local brewed coffee, chocolate brownies and other delicious food items. BEST THING IS this is made around an old tree in a cargo container mounted atop a tree! Literally! And very comfortable, airy and wifi and all one will need to have a great time here. Thank you Tiger Ted cafe team for preserving the aura, upholding values and giving us such exemplary service e and support over the years

Had the Thai tea and a ham & cheese sandwich — both were delicious . The prices are very reasonable , and it’s conveniently located right next to Maya Mall.
